About the Creator/Director

Cynthia Monique is an entertainment consultant, actor, choreographer, and dancer from Washington D.C.  She earned her B.F.A from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Her credits include, The Milton Myers dance ensemble formerly of the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, the Lula Washington Dance Co, the musical "Sing Sista Sing" produced by Smokey Robinson and Mickey Stevenson, and the hit stage play "Woman Thou Art Loosed" Directed by TYLER PERRY (of "Why Did I Get Married" fame).

In addition, she is an award winning actress. She won a Dramalouge award for Outstanding Theater Performance for a stage play she did with the West Coast Theater Ensemble. Television credits include; America's Most Wanted, Hollywood Safari (Animal Planet Channel), and The Soul Train Music Awards. She also choreographed a TV commercial for the clothing store "Urban Rags" that ran on local TV stations in Los Angeles. Film credits include; "The Righteous One" (AFI, American film Institute), and "The Preacher and the Skinhead".

 Also, she served as an assisting casting director for the New York original stage play "Carls Second Chance". As an Entertainment Consultant she has successfully helped her clients get signed to excellent talent agencies in Los Angeles to launch their careers. Currently she is working on the independent film "The Preacher and the Skinhead" the movie trailer can be seen on YOUTUBE. She is the director/creator of BE A PERFORMER and developed the program to help other performing artist to achieve their dreams.
